I'm loving florals

I love browsing Etsy and admiring the work of other artists/crafters/creators/etc and the treasures found by vintage sellers. If I could, I would buy everything off Etsy, but I can't so I just put it all in my wishlist and hope that certain people will check it during Christmas and my birthday. So to show my support and to show you all the wonderful things out there, I decided, I would share my weekly favorites.

Since Spring just started, this week I'm loving florals.

Compact Mirror from Kawaii Sakura Handmade
I love that this is embroidered with ribbon.  It's practical and beautiful.

Birdhouse Necklace from Peaches and Pebbles
I love all things miniature, and this little birdhouse necklace is too adorable.

Floral Wreath Monogram Notecards from Fairmont & Grove
I've always had a thing for pretty stationary since I was a little girl, and I just love how simple and beautiful this is. I think I need to find some pen pals!
Vintage Floral Washi Tape from Moose Art
I use washi tape for packaging orders, hanging pictures and kids art on the walls, and adding a little decorative touch to little things. I think this might have to be my next washi tape purchase!

Remember Me Antique Mug from Smile Mercantile
I love coffee maybe a little too much and I like my mugs a little on the smaller size, so this is perfect and cute!

What are you loving this week?

I don't hoard. I collect.

About two months ago, my husband and I decided it was time to organize our storage unit once again and we went through a lot of old clothes. I kind of have a problem with throwing out any type of fabric because I see its potential to be something new and cool. When my husband started going through his old Army uniforms, I could tell he was skeptical when I told him not to donate them. I admit that most of my fabric sits there, just waiting to be used. But I love the color of the old class A's and had to put them to good use.

How pretty is that?
I've been meaning to make more of the heart hoop in different colors, but just haven't got to it yet. I figured this was the perfect background so here it is!

I had a little help.

Now I need to go dig out some more leftover fabric and see what else I may have forgot about!

A new season, a new year

Thursday was my birthday and it was great spending it with my girls. I think it's fun that my birthday falls on the first day of spring and we had perfect weather for a little tea party to celebrate.

It was so pretty, I didn't want to eat it!
I'm actually kind of excited that this will be my last year in my twenties. I got married young (21) and had Mila at 23. I spent most of it in school (moving around and having kids challenges things). And my husband will *hopefully* be done with grad school in about a year. I'm ready for our next adventure.

Onesie Sale!

I no longer use Gerber onesies so I am getting rid of the ones I have in stock. So visit the shop to check out the sale!

Don't worry, these designs are still available in Carters onesies for normal price :)

Is it spring yet?

I love this time of year. The weather is confused and it'll be in the 60s one day and the next it'll be snowing. Before we know it, it'll be summer and in the 100s so the girls and I are taking every chance we get to spend it outdoors. And one thing I love about embroidery is how portable it is. We have a nice area right outside our apartment where the girls can run wild. I just love to sit on the bench and watch them play while I work.

I've been working on this buffalo for what seems like forever. He's kind of been my go-to guy when I don't have many projects going on. I can't wait to see what he looks like finished.

Just an extra one I had to stick in while we were playing at the park.

It's easy for me to get caught up in my work, so I have to remind myself to stop and enjoy some time outside.

More tees coming!

I'm excited that I'll be adding more tees! I have done a few tees, but finding the right tee that I could consistently buy was more difficult than I thought it would be. Since I now have a wholesale account with American Apparel, I can make it happen! I will be slowly adding them to the shop, but custom orders are always available.

So with that being said, my poor girls have become my modeling victims. Poor Mila felt awkward at first.

Things got out of hand
Annabelle had her own photo shoot a few days later, but it was definitely not as successful. She refuses to wear anything I pick out for her. Ideally, she wouldn't have worn the mismatched dress-up skirt and tights, but I wasn't going to push it. Plus, it's her style :)

I was lucky to get this shot
I'm just happy I have these cuties around to model for me :)
